3 Ways to Knock Out Your Bucket List (and a peek at our B-List!)

It is important to try not to get overwhelmed by these lists. The world can feel big, sometimes too big, and that can leave us feeling like ants in a football field. So here are 3 quick tips on how to knock out your bucket list:

1. Start Small

Make sure you have local or driveable spots on your bucket list. A good road trip can go a long way in feeling like your having a big adventure not far from your home. It doesn’t have to be an exoctic location to be on your bucket list. Find a local spot to go hiking, drive to find a Diner, Drive-in, or Dive (Check out www.dinersdriveinsdiveslocations.com to find one near you!), or travel to see a college sporting event. There’s a ton of ways to create a cool bucket list!

2. Find a Direct Flight

Find a direct flight – travelling with layovers can bring up many unforeseen issues that can make your trip way less enjoyable. Avoid long layovers, missing bags, bad airport meals, and missing connections by making your first trip a direct flight. Need help looking for flights? There are a ton of great sites like Momundo and Kayak plus great leads from sites like Scott’s Cheap Flights.

3. Go Big (and plan accordingly!)

Go Big (and plan accordingly) – Once you commit to taking the trip, try to plan financially and mentally for it. You don’t want to get to Australia just to realize the Great Barrier Reef is an $800 2-day boat ride and you can’t afford it or didn’t pack correctly. Plan ahead for these big adventures so you can make sure they are everything and more!
